Nottingham is full of strangers with the Fair and so one more won't cause any excitement.

The fights haven't started yet but they will soon and there's something to see every where.

"What the 'ell are ye doin'?"

Matt doesn't turn to see what Shay's looking at.

"There's a guy that looks just like you. Except, y'know, not like an idiot," Shay says, continuing to jab at Matt.

"Ye're full o'it!"

Then Matt starts punching back but this time towards Shay's face.

Shay really thought that'd work.

Still, he ducks under the punches, and throws his body weight into an elbow at Matt's gut.

Matt takes the slam and then takes Shay's shoulders and kicks upwards.

Never use the same move twice. Up there with the Conservation of Ninjitsu as far as laws of the universe went.

The kick gets him on the shoulders, sending him reeling back.

With a sneer, Matt comes forward and waits for Shay to stand up so he can punch him more.

Shay stands up again, getting into a defensive stance.

Matt just keeps coming with lots of solid punches.

Shay dodges away from them, relying on speed and punching fast wherever he can reach.

Speed helps but Matt just keeps coming.

Shay takes a few punches eventually, causing him to stagger backwards.

So Matt winds up for a big punch at his face.

The punch hits, knocking Shay down flat.

Matt looks down at him and kicks his side.

Shay takes the blow with a grunt and a wince.

"Ye yield?"

"Yeah, I yield."

Matt nods and the announcer takes his hand and leaves space for Shay to get off the platform.

Shay gets off, watching the platform as he shucks his shirt, jerkin and wrist brace back on.

Will comes out of the crowd, "Guess ye didna win."

"Foregone conclusion. I'm a conman, not a boxer - and when I do fight, which is often lately, I have photon-reinforced metal and leather between me and whatever cyborgtastic menace is up that day. I'm not too bruised for dancing, am I?"

The music's always been going in the background but as the light starts to fade from the sky, it gets louder.

A large part of a meadow has been lit and opened up for dancing.
