Shenanignans with Atton

Will's in a good mood as he opens the door for Atton onto a beautifully sunny day on the road to London.

"Should I just pick you up and superspeed there?"

"Probably be quicker, aye, an will be payday for the guards 'gain so they'll be stupider."

"Excellent," Atton grins, plucking up Will and breaking off into a sprint.

A few minutes later, they stop in a dark alleyway, and Atton sets Will down.

"Was thinkin' we'd find a good tavern, steal some coin, start a brawl."

"I like taverns. I like coins and brawls, too. I approve."

"Thought ye would."

Will heads towards the loudest tavern around and heads inside.

Atton lags behind Will, grinning.

Inside its chaotic as the guards who just got off duty are laughing and gambling. Will heads towards the Bar to order them two ales.

"Ale," Atton says, gravely, after Will orders them. "Ale good."

The tender eyes Atton but just sets down their drinks, they're strangers but not guards so he's not paying them too much attention.

A very drunk guard wobbles towards them and pokes Atton in the arm,

"Ye're in me seat."

Atton grins.

"That I am."

Will drinks his ale and lets Atton start things off as the guard shoves Atton.

Atton remains firmly rooted on the seat, gulping down some of his ale before setting it down and giving the guard a shove.

"Canna do that to me!"

This time the guard punches Atton or at least attempts to, drinking is not always good for coordination.

Atton grabs the guard's arm, standing and moving to pin it behind his back and push him down onto the bar.

This gets a few of the guards friends coming over and yelling, Will helpfully punches one of them and is brawl time.

Atton lets go of the guard he has pinned to the bar, turning and punching out one of his friends.

Will's in the midst of trading punches and kicks with one guard as another tries to break a chair over Atton.

Atton grabs the chair, wrenching it out of the guard's grip and tossing it aside, before grabbing the guard and swinging him into another one nearby.

The one he swings the guard into was fighting Will and gets knocked out as Will takes the chance to punch him,

"Thanks Atton."

Will says with a grin before heading into the fray again, he's also picking a few pockets as he goes.

Atton heads back into the fray, knocking people down as he goes.

Soon most of the Bar is laid out and the innkeeper is glaring at them. Will gives a grin, drops a few coins and heads out the door.

Once they're out, Atton pulls a piece of paper from his pocket, scribbling on it before peering at it.

To-do list:

Drink.
Fight.
Steal.
Shove Will.

Atton eyes Will, for a moment, before hastily folding up the paper and concealing it again.

Will peers over at the list and grins again,

"What's that?"
