Nightmares in Shatter

He woke biting his lip to keep from screaming and shivered in bed for a while.

Marley still slept so he stood up, pulling the blanket around him as his scars felt like they were on fire and somehow got out to the hallway.

The world is dark and close and he shivers and trembles and tries not to fall to pieces.

He wasn't planning on it but the feel of her hands on him was a lovely surprised and he moves up to kiss her on the lips and whisper,

"Love ye, Kate."

She moved closer to him, and kissed back deeply before murmuring, "Love you too, Will." She shifted herself so their hips matched up, and kissed him again.

His breath changes at her movement and he looks up at her, scared and excited as he shifts under her so she can position herself on him when she's ready. Then kisses her fiercely and with all the emotion he can.

The passionate kisses from him help her center her resolve. Grateful that he let her take control, it helped ease her worries. She was getting back what had been denied to her, a chance to have a first time where it was just two people making love. She then helped to guide him inside of her with another gasp, her back arching to pull him more. No pain here, just pleasure. Her hips then gently moved against him.

He moans and cries her name as he enters her, steadying her with his hands on her hips as he kisses her again.

She had her hands on the mattress to help steady herself over him, and kissed him back. Sometimes leaning down to kiss his neck as she moved her hips more. Slowly increasing the speed.

He thrusts inside her, gently speeding up, everything feels so much and he kisses her and moans, trying to hold on as his body feels so close.

Her blue eyes flashed as she grew closer herself, her body tightening around him. Her heightened senses feeling everything more, and it just was amazing, as her cries and moans grew more urgent.

At her cries, he speeds up, trying to push her over the edge and hang on himself as his hands hold tightly to her hips.

Her head then went back with a cry of his name, and she shuddered as she climaxed, still moving against him.

A moment later, he climaxed with a cry and collapsed back on the bed, trying to kiss her,

"Lord, Kate."

She finally slowed down, and carefully moved off of him, kissing him then.

"...Uh-huh," She agreed with a happy smile.

"Come into me arms, love."

He smiles at her with a look of utter amazement.

She smiled, and snuggled up against him as she placed her arms around his waist. She rested her head against his chest, and went to find the blankets to put over them. There was still a chill in the air with being underground.

He smiles and kisses her hair, he doesn't quite have the proper words yet but this feels right.

She smiled back, and reached up to fiddle with some of his hair. Staring at how the red looked in between her fingers idly. Just felt very comfortable and content here with him.

"Thank ye for trustin' an lovin' me, Kate."

He finally says as he makes her comfortable in his arms and feels sleep coming soon.

"You're welcome," she nuzzled against him. "Thank you for accepting and loving me, Will." Her breathing was calm, and her eyes half closed.

He just smiles again and hugs her before falling asleep rather quickly.

For once he sleeps with no nightmares and when he wakes, pulls the warmth of her close to him.

Then he opens his eyes and his breathing speeds up as he realizes they're both naked, he remembers with joy last night but what if she doesn't.

So he just stays very, very still and waits for her to wake.

She started to stir, and sleepily blinked her eyes open. Her mind was still muddled with sleep so the nakedness got a quizzical, "hmmm?" Naked but very warm, why? Oh, naked man here.

...Naked man???

She did briefly startle, but then relaxed when she noticed Will. "Oh, hi... you're here." Which means they... oh! oh wow. Right. But she didn't regret this, it just seemed natural with him really.

"Aye, I am."

Once she relaxes, he smiles down at her and kisses her gently,

"Thank ye, Kate."

"Thank you, Will. Love you." She kissed him back and settled against him again. "You're very comfortable, you know that?"

"Do my best."

He strokes her hair with a smile, this just feels right.

She settled in again, "Not in a hurry to get up yet are you?"

"Oh nay, 'less tis a request than might be able to see what I can do."

That wicked grin has not been ever seen before in Shatter but oh it might get comfortable here.
