Summer Begins
Mar. 9th, 2007 11:18 pmAfter a night in a cell, Will walked back through his door to the chaos of the fair, days of watching, running and stealing as Summer came. The days grow long and the season of haymaking begins, each day full and busy though Will's night are troubled by dreams of an inn on the edge of the universe. On some nights when the moon hides her face, old nightmares return called by a cold face that sneers and pulls Will apart with pain as the Sheriff laughs. Will holds tight to thoughts of chocolate and kind faces, but begins to doubt their reality as no doors open.
A month passes and Will stops checking doors, realizing that the Bar was a part of Faerie that let him in twice, but rejected him when he broke the rules and lost his temper. Days are full as Sherwood is full of life and Nottingham teems with busy souls waiting for the harvest and the tax.
