As Atton is lifted up, he shifts some blood from his nose into his mouth and spits it down at Much's eyes.

Then he hits the ground, rather hard, and gives out a sharp noise of pain, because suddenly it's not just his face that feels like it's on fire, but his entire body.

There's blood on his chest and arms, though Atton isn't entirely sure of the source - a few scrapes, he thinks - and his left side hurts worse than the others. He thinks he may have broken a rib or two upon hitting the ground.
